[...] Win or lose, most candidates retire their campaign blogs and related online efforts soon after (and, surprisingly often, before) election day. But Sen.

William, I appreciate your recognition that Majority Leader Frist's blog remains active. However, your comment "Too bad nothing on the blog he sponsors is necessarily reflective of Frist’s actual opinions" is flatly incorrect. Senator Frist stands behind each and every one of his numerous blog posts ... he's been posting regularly since October of 2005.

The disclaimer at the bottom of our website (not just the blog) reads "Articles discussed and linked here do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Volpac or Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist." If you take a moment to look around, you can see that the VOLPAC Web Team occasionally links to blog posts or op-eds of interest and that our 2006 Senate race map aggregates the latest Google News stories and that our iFrist Volunteers link to articles and blog posts on their promoted posts (and in their conversations of our Hot Board) ... these are the "[a]rticles discussed and linked here" that do not necessarily represent the Majority Leader.

Thanks,
Stephen Smith

I continue to write because I continue to care.

Coming to Connecticut was never about a paycheck, and the polls certainly didn't show it was because we had a good chance of winning the primary either. I hope you and your friends continue to hold Joe Lieberman accountable on his newfound anti-war rhetoric and potential IRS violations rearding the $387,000 CASH he spread around the streets of CT in 12 days prior to the primary.

As an aside, you got the figures wrong (at least mine) on your financials for internet staff post.
