“[C]learly the Facebook organizing is working.” Who said this? No peeking at Technorati!
Consider, the news articles linked above were to the Des Moines Register and Manchester Union Leader, neither of which mentioned Facebook. Neither did the rest of the post. And not to belabor the point, but none of the above mentioned any specific turnout by college students.

However, without naming names, three other people did IM or e-mail the answer correctly beforehand. (Not that they counted, for our purposes.) NPB guessed immediately — hence the post going up in the first place.
I didn’t promise anything for winning, but I did tell the first non-NPB person who guessed correctly that I’d buy his next drink, so JeffL, next time you’re within walking distance of the Washington Metrorail, name your poison.
And if anybody gets the embedded answer part by Friday, I suppose I can spare them a drink, too.
