Wikipedia is my source for almost-everything but it definitely shows up some big biases at times.

For instance: the page for "bride price" for instance is sooooo over-the-top in anthropological cultural-sensititivity that there is no reference to how high bride prices result in bride kidnapping in some poor parts of the world (eg. parts of Ethiopia). The entire page for "bride price" is completely positive towards the bride price practice - instead of ackowledging that it could be a practice that has both positive and (very) negative consequences at times (as does anything).

I have started to correct all the pages that I see as ommitting important information or viewpoints (usually the omission was something deliberately done - eg. a section deleted - rather than a mere oversight). I am keeping a record of all the pages I correct so that I can easily "re-correct" the page at a later date if I go back and see that it has become biased again.
