Yeah I have noticed that there seems to be an awful lot of Russian spam comments these days. As far as comments go, I feel that if the comment adds something of value to the conversation and is relevant I’ll approve the comment even if I suspect it’s for some seo purpose. That what the blogosphere should be about.

Yeah, most blogging programs are usually set to “no-follow,” making spam even less effective than before. It kind of sucks, because I wouldn’t really mind giving legitimate commenters some Google juice, but it’s not worth the time or the effort to manually remove the “no follow” links in their comments.
