Hi, I’m Bill and I’m the chief investigator around here. I am also a consultant for a number of public affairs clients through my employer, New Media Strategies. I stated early on that if I was ever to write about a client, I would say so in the same post. This is rarely a big deal, as blog and client seldom converge.
During spring 2007 through winter 2008 I was a member of Fred Thompson’s Internet team through my employer, New Media Strategies. During that time I wrote about the campaign and candidate occasionally, always providing appropriate disclosure. Should another situation arise where I cannot avoid writing about a client, I will disclose that as well.
So now you know, and knowing is half the hassle.
